Procedure:

UO Brokers can assist you in almost any transfer of your Ultima Online needs. Below our the guidelines that we follow to ensure the trade is 100% safe.

ICQ is a internet chat relay program that is commonly used by Ultima Online players. If you feel comfortable arranging a meeting and revealing your account information in an email to your UO Secure broker, then ICQ is NOT required. 99% of the transfers that we make are through ICQ. Thus, it would be wise to download ICQ (it is free) if you do not already have it installed and wish to use our service.

UO Secure Brokers generally handle transfers where the buyer and seller negotiate a deal that involve the transaction of a blank account, a non-blank account, in-game items or real life cash. Below our the details involved that a broker will follow if you've requested our service.

Blank account

A blank account is one in which there are no other features besides the account age (months) that are being transferred. The account does not need to be activated and we recommend that it is not. During the meeting, the UO Secure Broker will ask for the username and password in a direct ICQ message of the account. The broker will perform the same task for the other party involved following this same standard for a blank account and the below standards for any other type of trade. When the UO Secure Broker receives the account information, it will be temporarily changed to ensure that one of the parties does not change the information before the transfer is made. Once the UO Secure broker has changed the blank account to a temporary password and he has completed the transfer of the other party, he will finalize the trade by private messaging each party with their information.

Non-blank account

Most accounts that are sold usually are not blank. A non-blank account is an account that is valued from the skills of characters, monetary and non-monetary items that make up the account. Often, these types of accounts are frequently reported in scams because it is so easy to lie about the attributes and earnings of ones account. Thus, UO Secure Broker has developed a policy in dealing with a transaction with this type of account.

There are two methods that the broker can take in verifying the account that is being traded. The method that UO Secure Broker will take depends entirely on the two parties involved in the transaction. This detail is discussed prior to the meeting with a broker. Once the account owner gives the broker the account information, the broker has two options of verification:

1) The account owner will have the account deactivated and thus the broker will perform out-of-game verification. This is the same verification used on blank accounts discussed above. Again, the broker will only be able to verify that the account exists and its age. This option is somewhat useless for non-blank accounts because a non-blank account usually has characters, property, and in-game items that form the bulk of the transfer. If both parties wish that the broker verify the non-blank account by out-of-game verification, then this option is used and the account does NOT need to be activated. Despite the ineffectiveness of this method for non-blank accounts, out-of-game verification is still commonly used as many account owners do not like to give their activated account info to a broker.

2) The account owner will have the account ACTIVATED and thus the broker will perform in-game verification. This is what makes UO Secure Broker service special. Unlike other brokering services, UO Secure Brokers will be able to verify the actual stats and skills of characters, property, and other in-game items. BOTH parties must agree to this option for the UO Secure Broker to perform in-game verification. If this is the case, prior to the meeting one of the parties will need to supply the broker with a list of skills, items, and anything else that needs to be verified. This method of verifcation is 100% effective and we can especially guarantee what the recipient party will be receiving. After the UO Secure Broker has completed the in-game verification of an account, the UO Secure Broker will cancel the activation of the account. He will check with the party involved in the icq chat before he performs this action.

Again once the account has been verified by in-game or out-of-game verification, the broker will temporarily change the account password to ensure that one of the parties does not change the information before the transfer is made. When the broker completes the transfer of the other party, he will finalize the trade by private messaging each party with their information.

In-game items

In-game items include gold(gp), weapons, rares, or any other item that can be securely transferred through the in-game trade window. UO Secure Brokers do not assist in in-game for in-game transfers as that would be unnecessary. However, if the transfer involves any of the other items described above and below, a UO Secure Broker will be able to assist you. During a transaction in which one party is trading in-game item(s), the UO Secure Broker will private message the party with locations where to meet and the name of the brokers in-game character. When the in-game meeting occurs, the party involved will either give or receive the items depending on the transfer. The UO Secure Broker will not approach you in-game. It is up to the party to repeat the password specified over ICQ to the broker in the game to verify the correct person. The trade will then be completed in-game, and the broker will then complete the transfer of the other party.

Real life cash

Real life cash is the last type of option that can be used in our Ultima Online transactions. UO Secure Brokers can only assist in transactions of money through PAYPAL. The seller or buyer must be able to pay the recipient party through this form online banking. This enables us to do trading quick and easy. If a transfer involves real life cash, the broker will at one point finalize the verification the recipient's in-game item(s) or account. When this is complete, the broker will finish the trade by giving the party with the real life cash the PayPal information of the recipient. When the recipient can verify that the money has been received, the UO Broker will then finish the transaction with this party. This will be either in-game item(s) or the account information of a blank or non-blank account.
